Dry Risers are a vital life safety system that aid the fire and rescure service to fight fire quickly and effectively. An effective Dry Riser system will eliminate delays for the fire and rescue service and will ensure they can get water to the fire as quick as possible.

A dry riser system should be capable of holding 12 Bar of pressure for 15 minutes for testing purposes. Annual Pressure testing ensures that your system is ready to go should it ever be needed by the fire and rescue service.

We also provide testing services for new dry riser installs which need to be tested at various stages to ensure they meet the specified requirements. In addition to pressure testing we also carry out a visual inspection to ensure that all signage and hardware are of an acceptable standard. At Hydro Fire we have a wealth of experience and knowledge when it comes to dry risers testing.

All our testing is carried out to BS9990 and we are the proud holder of BAFE SP105 Dry/Wet Riser accrediatation.
